V-Infinity dc-dc Converters Feature Shielded Metal Cases

V-Infinity’s VKD1000 series dc-dc converters are chassis-mount devices enclosed in metal cases with input ranges of 80-180, 200-400, and 400-800 V dc.

Designers who need rugged dc-dc converters will appreciate the VKD1000 series units, which are chassis-mount devices enclosed in metal cases. Input ranges available include 80-180, 200-400, and 400-800 V dc. The converters deliver outputs of 12, 15, 24, 28, and 48 V dc at up to 1000 W. The units measure 9.76 by 7.17 by 2.28 in., with a built-in heatsink.

Standard operating temperature range is --25 to 85 degrees C, but a range of -55 to 85 degrees C is also available. Other features include under-voltage-lockout, over-current, over-voltage, and over-temperature protection. The units are well-suited for applications such as transportation, telecom, and basestations.
