Operating on supplies up to 900V, the PA94 and PA95 power operational amplifiers are both housed in a Power SIP design to reduce board space requirements and feature a staggered pin configuration to accommodate their high voltage capabilities. In addition to a ±50V supply, both models provide 100 mA of continuous output current and up to 200 mA pulse. Individually, the PA94 offers speed with 500V/µs slew rate, but external compensation allows flexibility in choosing bandwidth and slew rate based on the application. The PA95 idles quietly by offering the designer a maximum standby current of 1.6 mA. Both devices feature a MOSFET output state that is biased AB for linear operation. Pricing in lots of 100 is $98.05 each for the PA94 and $99.35 each for PA95. An evaluation kit-- the EK19-- is available for easy prototyping; it is priced at $33 and includes a pc board, a heatsink, thermal washers and capacitors.
