Setting up shop in a compact SOT23-6 package, the ZHCS2000 Schottky barrier diode is capable of handling 2A dc with a forward voltage of 500 mV maximum. The voltage drop of this device is typically 340 mV at 1A and 485 mV at 2A. At an ambient temperature of 25°C, it can dissipate up to 1.1W in a space normally occupied by a larger, SOT23 device. Other features include a recovery time of 5.5 ns, reverse breakdown voltage of 40V, a typical leakage current of 160 µA at a reverse voltage of 30V, and a capacitance of 50 pF at a reverse voltage of 25V. Pricing is $0.33 each/1,000.
