Touted as the industry's fastest CMOS operational amplifiers, the OPA355 op amp family from the company's Burr-Brown product line provides a 200-MHz gain bandwidth and a 360 V/us slew rate. Aimed at high-speed applications, such as video processing, ultrasound, optical networking, photodiode amplifiers, and A/D converter input buffering, the op amps are optimized for operation on single or dual supplies, as low as 2.5V ±1.25V and up to 5.5V ±2.75V.Common-mode input range extends 100 mV below ground and up to 1.5V from the positive supply. Voltage output swing is within 100 mV of the rails.Other features include a noise figure of 5.8-nV/rt-Hz, an input bias current of 3 pA, and a quiescent current of 8.3 mA per channel. The OPA355 single is available in SOT23-6 and SO-8 packages, priced at $1.19 each/1,000, and the OPA3355 triple op amp comes in a TSSOP-14 and SO-14 costing $2.79 each/1,000.
