Dual Varactor Diodes Promise Close Matching For Critical Applications

July 1, 2002
For designs where tuner-diode matching is critical and space is limited, the ZMDC831BTA and 832BTA dual common-cathode, hyperabrupt varactor diodes report high tolerance C-V characteristics, inherent matching, high Q, low leakage, and low phase noise.

For designs where tuner-diode matching is critical and space is limited, the ZMDC831BTA and 832BTA dual common-cathode, hyperabrupt varactor diodes report high tolerance C-V characteristics, inherent matching, high Q, low leakage, and low phase noise. At a reverse bias of 2V, nominal capacitances for the 831BTA and 832BTA are 15 pF and 22 pF and the C2/C20 capacitance ratio is 4.5:6 and 5:6.5, respectively. Both devices exhibit a reverse leakage current as low as 200 pA. Price for either is $0.30 each/1,000. For more information, contact Neil Chadderton at ZETEX INC., Hauppauge, NY. (631) 360-2222.
