Poised for use in uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and motor control applications, the IRF8010 series HEXFET power MOSFETs exhibit a typical on-resistance of 12 m?. They can withstand repetitive- and single-pulse avalanche energy (EAR and EAS) up to 175°C and reportedly have minimal input capacitance and gate charge. Otherwise identical, the IRF8010S, IRF8010 and IRF8010L are available in D2Pak, TO-220 and TO-262 packages, respectively. Each device specifies a VDSS of 100V, ID of 80A, Rth J-C of 0.57°C/W, and a junction temperature of 175°C. Furthermore, the devices areindustrial qualified and fully characterized in thermal resistance for end-of-life conditions in power and thermal-cycling conditions common to motor control applications. Pricing begins at $0.624 each/5,000 for the IRF8010. For more information, call Wayne Yoshida at INTERNATIONAL RECTIFIER, El Segundo, CA. (310) 252-7726.
