Reporting current-handling capabilities up to three times higher than current industry-standard devices, the SSA23L through SSC54 SMA-packaged Schottky rectifiers sustain 2A or 3A, compared to the more common 1A rating. They are also available in SMB and SMC packages rated for 4A and 5A, respectively. According to the company, other standard SMB and SMC devices are generally rated for 2A and 3A operation. Standard features include a plastic package meeting 94V-0 requirements, an operating junction temperature of 150°C, and 25 kV of ESD protection. Prices range from $0.05 to $0.12 each/10,000.
