Oct. 25, 2004
In a compact, 10-pin MSOP, the LTC1403 a/d converter samples at rates up to 2.8 Msamples/s with a 14-bit resolution. The device specifies a SINAD of 73 dB and a ±4 LSB INL, said to make it desirable for industrial and high-speed imaging

In a compact, 10-pin MSOP, the LTC1403 a/d converter samples at rates up to 2.8 Msamples/s with a 14-bit resolution. The device specifies a SINAD of 73 dB and a ±4 LSB INL, said to make it desirable for industrial and high-speed imaging applications. Operating from a 3V supply at its full sampling rate, the converter draws 5 mA of current. Power dissipation in nap mode is 3.3 mW with the reference voltage still present, and in sleep mode is 6 mW. Other features include microcontroller and DSP-compatible interfaces. Available in either commercial and industrial temperature ranges, price is $4 each/1,000.
