The LX3055 is a coplanar waveguide photodiode intended for high bandwidth single-mode fiber optic network applications. Fabricated as an InGaAS/InP PIN photodiode, it can serve in 1310 nm and 1550 nm optical networks in optical receivers, transponders, optical transmission modules and combination PIN photodiode/transimpedance amplifiers. Typical applications are in 4 Gb fiber channel optical networks, SONET/SDH OC-48 and optical backplanes. It is available in single- or 1 x 4 diode arrays. Price is $3.33 each/10,000.
