Offered in 9 mm x 9 mm chip-scale packages, the AD92xx family integrates dual a/d converters and includes what is said the be the industry's first such device to integrate two 14-bit converters on a single chip. The 14-bit AD9248 delivers sampling rates from 20 to 65 Msamples/s with a power consumption of 300 mW per channel at 65 Msamples/s. Integrating two 12-bit a/d converters, the AD9238 also provides speeds of 20 to 65 Msamples/s while consuming 300 mW per channel at 65 Msamples/s. With two 10-bit converters on board, the AD9216 operates at throughput rates ranging from 65 to 105 Msamples/s and consumes 150 mW per channel at the maximum rate. Pricing for the AD9216, AD9238, and AD9248 begins at $9.25, $13.15 and $22.95 each/1,000, respectively. ANALOG DEVICES INC., Norwood, MA. (800) 262-5643.
