Optimized for battery-powered products and portable data-acquisition systems, the AS1530/31 family of differential 12-bit, 8-channel a/d converters with 2.5V references deliver sample rates up to 400 ksamples/s. Operating from a 4.5V to 5.5V supply, the AS1530 consumes 2.8 mA at 400 ksamples/s and the AS1531, anchoring to a 2.7V to 3.6V supply, eats up just 2.2 mA at 300 ksamples/s. Software power-down reduces current consumption to 0.4 mA in reduced-power mode and 0.5 µA in full power-down mode. Both devices feature four analog input modes, a SINAD greater than 70 dB, and SPI, QSPI, and Microwire interfaces. They are available in lead-free, 20-pin TSSOPs.
