The LMP7731 single and LMP7732 dual op amps rely on a proprietary VIP50 BiCMOS process to specify an input-voltage noise of 2.9 nV/√Hz, reportedly the lowest available, with a 1/f noise corner of 3 Hz. The amps also feature a 0 Hz to 10 Hz peak-to-peak noise voltage of 78 nV and support data acquisition systems of 16-bits or greater. Other shared features include bipolar input stages with input bias cancellation circuitry that lowers the input current to 1.5 nA, a dc-offset voltage at 40 ?V, operating voltage range from 1.8V to 5.5V, and a gain bandwidth of 22 MHz while consuming 2 mA of current. Prices for the LMP7731 and LMP7732 are $1.15 and $1.80 each/1,000, respectively. NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR CORP., Santa Clara, CA. (800) 272-9959.
