Consuming less than 16 mW per channel, the LMP22xx precision op amps provide a guaranteed maximum offset voltage drift over temperature (TCVOS) as low as ±0.4 mV/°C, said to be the industry’s lowest. The LMP2231 single, LMP2232 dual, and LMP2234 quad op amps feature CMOS inputs, 1.6V to 5.5V operation, 10 mA of supply current per channel, an offset voltage of 150 mV, and a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. All three provide 130 kHz of usable bandwidth. A single op amp, the LMP2231 specifies a quiescent power consumption of 16 mW, maximum offset of 150 mV, maximum offset voltage drift of 0.4 mV/°C, and a bias current of ±20 fA. The LMP2232 dual exhibits a quiescent power consumption of 13 mW per channel. The device has a maximum offset voltage of 150 mV, maximum offset voltage drift of 0.5 mV/°C, and a bias current of ±20 fA. The LMP2234 quad specifies a quiescent power consumption of 12 mW per channel, maximum offset voltage of 150 mV, maximum offset voltage drift of 0.75 mV/°C, and a bias current of ±20 fA. Prices range from $1.10 to $2.35 each/1,000. NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR CORP., Santa Clara, CA. (800) 272-9959.
