Available in 10-, 50-, and 100-kOhm versions, the CAT5128 32-tap digital potentiometer is a simple up/down control for enabling easy-to-use digital interfaces. In an eight-lead SOT-23 package, the device suits a wide range of control and calibration applications, i.e., digital volume controls and LCD screen contrast and brightness adjustment applications. The up/down control interface is configurable to work directly with a microprocessor or with two external push-button switches.
