Deemed to be cost-effective optocoupler replacements, the IsoLoop IL500-Series digital isolators operate at 2 Mb/s, sport a dc-correct design, and, depending on the model, include an external clocking option. A controllable refresh clock ensures outputs synchronize to inputs within 9 ?s and a unique technology provides a 25-ns worst-case propagation delay and a 10-ns pulse-width distortion. One-, two-, three-, and four-channel models are available. One- and two-channel models are available in either SOIC packages or eight-pin MSOPs. Three- and four-channel models are available in 0.15” wide or 0.3” wide 16-pin SOIC packages and all models are available in RoHS-compliant versions. Other shared features include a supply voltage range from 3V to 5.5V, an operating temperature range from -40?C to +85?C, and a typical transient immunity of 30 kV/?s. Pricing starts at $0.53 per channel each/1,000. NVE CORP., Eden Prairie, MN. (800) 467-7141.
