LCD Controller Enhances DisplayPort Monitors
Groomed for DisplayPort monitors, the STDP6000 series single-chip controllers provide 12-bit color-processing, enhanced color fidelity, and ultra-low power consumption when the monitor is in standby mode. The controllers accept a wide range of digital inputs including DisplayPort, HDMI, and DVI while supporting VGA inputs for connectivity to legacy analog sources. They also integrate an HDCP key for secure audio/video data transmission. In 128-pin TQFPs, the STDP6000 is available now in volume production. For prices, call STMICROELECTRONICS, Lexington, MA.
