Trimming power needs, the LT6656 voltage reference operates on a miniscule 850 nA of supply current with an initial error of less than 0.05% and a guaranteed temperature drift of less than 10 ppm/°C. With an output drive capability of 5 mA, the device is suitable for a wide range of applications. It can withstand reverse battery conditions, accept input voltages up to 18V, and operate from voltages as low as 3 mV above the output voltage.  Additionally, operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C. Prices start at $1.74 each 1,000. LINEAR TECHNOLOGY CORP., Milpitas, CA. (800) 454-6327.
