The MAX97200 dual-mode Class H headphone amplifier employs proprietary DirectDrive II technology to enable an extremely efficient Class H topology. Reportedly almost 100% more efficient than Class AB amplifiers, the device substantially extends audio playback time. It measures just over 2 mm2, making it viable for cell phones, portable media players, netbooks, and other battery-powered audio applications.
