Improving voice-signal-to-background-noise ratio in smart and other mobile phones, the LM49155 analog audio subsystem integrates noise reduction. In a 36-bump micro SMD package measuring 3.4 mm x 3.4 mm, the device provides uplink noise suppression and downlink SNR enhancement. Other features include a quiescent current of 3.7 mA for the earpiece and mic amps, 1.35W Class D speaker driver with ALC, ground-referenced headphone amplifier with click-pop suppression, and a mixing and volume control.
