Op Amp Calibrates Vos On Power Up

Oct. 13, 2010
Enabling the use of smaller sense resistors while improving power efficiency, the MAX9622 precision operational amplifier employs a unique auto-trimming technique to calibrate the input-offset voltage (Vos) on power up.

Enabling the use of smaller sense resistors while improving power efficiency, the MAX9622 precision operational amplifier employs a unique auto-trimming technique to calibrate the input-offset voltage (Vos) on power up. As a result, the device can achieve a maximum Vos of 100 µV. Other features include a rail-to-rail output, 50-MHz gain bandwidth, and an input common-mode voltage range that extends below ground. Available in a five-pin SC70 measuring 2 mm x 2 mm, pricing starts at $0.80 each/1,000. MAXIM INTEGRATED PRODUCTS, Sunnyvale, CA. (800) 998-8800.
