A 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with a buffered output, the DAC161S055 suits a range of applications including industrial I/O modules and data acquisition systems, automated test equipment, and medical devices. Specifications include ±1 LSB INL (max) and ±1LSB DNL (max) with a buffered-output settling time of 5µs. The device includes an asynchronous load feature allowing multiple DACs to provide synchronous outputs and a daisy chain capability that enables multiple DACs to link in series to a single SPI.
