The company’s RGB-split technology is now verified and ready for adoption in next generation foldable tablet computers and smartphones. As display content is shared across multiple displays, foldable systems allow a much larger effective display size without the larger size inherent in a single display system. RGB-split technology, implemented as part of a CSSP silicon solution, allows the single incoming display signal from the processor to be split into two, three or even more displays without the need for custom silicon and processor-intensive software. QuickLogic’s RGB-split technology is available as part of the ArcticLink II VX2 and VX4 platforms. QUICKLOGIC CORP., Sunnyvale, CA. (408) 990-4000.
