Robust ADC Handles Harsh Environment Markets up to 200°C

May 9, 2013
12-bit, 1 MHz data acquisition ADCs, housed in a 28-pin DDIP or SMT hermetically sealed ceramic packages, 100% tested for performance in the -55°C to 200°C temperature range.

DATEL’s ADS-1201 series of 12-bit, 1 MHz data acquisition ADCs are housed in a 28-pin DDIP or SMT hermetically sealed ceramic packages that are 100% tested for performance in the -55°C to 200°C temperature range to assure compliance with all published specifications. Featuring no latency delays, the ADC is suited for use in multiplexed analog input applications. Other key features include unipolar and bipolar input range, guaranteed 1,000-hour continuous operating life at 200°C, and precision internal reference to provide guaranteed tight static specifications. Fabricated on thick film ceramic, with low temperature drift thin film resistors on 96% alumina substrate and 250°C rated passive components, the series was developed and is manufactured using processes that originate with the company's MIL-PRF-38534 standards and controls in a certified Class H facility. Pricing for the DIP package (ADS-1201MHT) and the SMT package (ADS-1201GHT) is in the $250 range each/100, with delivery from stock to 12 weeks.
