Seven high-current-density 45- and 50-V Trench MOS Barrier Schottky rectifiers added to Vishay Intertechnology’s TMBS family offer current ratings from 3 to 8 A. The 0.95-mm-profile devices’ forward voltage drop down to 0.37 V at 3 A reduce power loss and improve efficiency in low-voltage, high-frequency dc-dc converters, switching power supplies, freewheeling diodes, and polarity protection. Three 45-V rectifiers are AEC-Q101-qualified for automotive applications, while four 50-V rectifiers will suit commercial applications such as smartphone and tablet chargers. Maximum operating junction temperature is +150°C, with a moisture sensitivity level (MSL) of 1, per J-STD-020. All come in surface-mount DO-221BC (SMPA) packaging.
