For use in military and rough industrial environments, the OVM4x series high-reliability, high-sensitivity color LEDs meet MIL-PRF-19500-level TX and TXV specifications.

For use in military and rough industrial environments, the OVM4x series high-reliability, high-sensitivity color LEDs meet MIL-PRF-19500-level TX and TXV specifications. The LEDs feature hermetically sealed TO-46 packages with built-in ESD protection, and are available in blue, green, red, and yellow. The series offers a variety of color intensity and dominant wavelength specifications. First, the OVM4BTX/TXV blue LEDs are made of indium gallium nitride (InGaN) with a typical luminous intensity of 2260 mcd and a dominant wavelength from 460 nm to 470 nm at a forward current of 20 mA. Forward voltages range from 2.6V to 2.95V. The OVM4GTX/TXV green LEDs are also made of indium gallium nitride (InGaN) and deliver a typical luminous intensity of 6,520 mcd and a dominant wavelength from 520 nm to 540 nm at 20 mA. Forward voltages range from 2.6V to 2.95V. Made of aluminum indium gallium phosphide (AlInGaP), the OVM4RTX/TXV red LEDs provide a typical luminous intensity of 3,330 mcd and a dominant wavelength from 619 nm to 629 nm 20 mA. Forward voltage ranges from 1.8V to 2.15V. Finally, the aluminum indium gallium phosphide (AlInGaP) OVM4YTX/TXV yellow LEDs output a typical luminous intensity of 2,010 mcd and over a dominant wavelength from 584 nm to 594 nm at 20 mA with a forward voltage 1.8V to 2.15V. Depending on the series, prices start at $10.08 each/1,000 for the OVM4x Series LEDs. OPTEK TECHNOLOGY INC., Carrollton, TX. (972) 323-2200.
