Powerwave Technologies’ Nexus FT 4000 low-power, multi-standard multi-band optical distributed antenna system for in-building broadband debuts as a scalable DAS solution for single- or multi-operator environments. The system offers different band configurations and promises to improve coverage and capacity while future-proofing an infrastructure to support 4G. It is thought to be the only DAS solution available with an IP65 rating, a 10-dBO optical link budget, -25°C to +55°C temperature range, and no fans . Upgradeable from dual to quad bands, it also supports multiple-input and multiple-output 700-MHz and AWS frequency bands. Powerwave Technologies Inc., Santa Ana, CA.  (888) 797-9283.
