Enabling small perpendicular daughter cards - such as module and programming cards - to be easily plugged into the top side of a main board, the new 00-9159 Series connector features an innovative, dual-slotted PCB board opening capable of accommodating 0.8mm or 1.6mm board thicknesses. This unique configuration, combined with high-reliability, gold-plated beryllium copper spring contacts, provides engineers with a versatile, robust, and cost-effective single-piece solution for low pin count perpendicular PCB mating in harsh industrial applications.
Featuring a removable pick and place cap to support robotic placement and SMT termination, the new 00-9159 Series connector is rated for 2A per gold-plated BeCu contact, 250VAC, and 10 cycles in temperatures spanning -40°C to +120°C, providing a high-reliability alternative to traditional and more costly two-piece connector solutions in harsh industrial environments.
