The motor attains a maximum speed of 22,000 rpm and, via a four-pole rotor, a maximum continuous torque of 18.4 oz-in. Ambient operating temperature range is from -40°C to +100°C. Other features include high-energy neodymium magnets that yield a mechanical time constant of less than 2 ms, and electronic commutation to minimize electrical noise.
