The Flex-BDM/68HC12/OSEK is claimed to be the industry's first background debug mode (BDM) tool capable of real-time debugging of embedded applications based on Motorola's OSEK/VDX RTOS. Targeting 68HC12 processors, the debugger is also said to reduce development time and, in some cases, replace more expensive in-circuit emulation techniques. The tool integrates an intelligent BDM cable with debugger software that runs under Windows 95/98/2000/NT.
