Permitting modification to accommodate various applications demanding precision and reliability, NTB series anti-backlash lead screw assembly is a candidate for use in the medical, data storage, engraving, semiconductor manufacturing, automated assembly, printing and scanning industries. Using a patented take-up mechanism, the NTB series maintains axial stiffness while system torque is held to a minimum. The assembly eliminates the need to highly preload the nut to compensate for load. The series is available in standard configurations with flange or thread mountsand can handle dynamic loads of up to 200 lb. The custom nuts can be machined or molded in an infinite variety of shapes and sizes. KERK MOTION PRODUCTS INC., Hollis, NH. (603) 465-7227.
