Tapping the power of rare earth magnets to maximize torque, the 68-mm long x 30-mm diameter RE30 series motors are rated at 60W and deliver a maximum continuous torque up to 13.7 oz.-in. And a patented rhombic moving coil design is said to provide for long life, low electrical noise, fast acceleration, and high efficiency while an ironless rotor allows for zero cogging and accurate control. Several different windings are available to match speed with voltage. Depending on winding, maximum efficiency is 86%. Operating temperature range is from -20°C to +100°C. Matching gear heads are available with ratios ranging from 3.7:1 up to 4060:1 that provide up to 5.53 ft.-lb. of intermittent torque. Encoders are available, too.
