The PVP192 bipolar stepper-motor drive measures only 89 mm x 76 mm x 38 mm and can deliver continuous currents up to 2A per phase. The device works with permanent-magnet stepper motors with four, six or eight leads. All control-signal inputs have uncommitted opto isolators which means that sinking (NPN) or sourcing (PNP) drivers can be used. Other features include full/half step-mode selection, fully adjustable output current, output stage disable function, standby current selection, and thermal overload protection.
