Groomed for low-, mid-, and high-voltage motor drive applications including permanent-magnet motor drives, the three-phase IRS26310DJPbF gate driver integrates power MOSFET and IGBT gate drivers with three high-side and three low-side referenced output channels to provide 200 mA and 350 mA drive currents with up to 20V MOS gate drive capability operating to 600V. The IC integrates a bootstrap diode and offers a comprehensive set of protection features including proprietary negative voltage spike immunity circuitry. Also on chip, an advanced input filter rejects noise and reduces distortion. Application-specific protection features include dc-bus sensing with over-voltage protection and a zero vector braking function for permanent-magnet motor drives. Available in a 44-pin PLCC, pricing begins at $2.32 each/100,000. For more information, contact Graham Robertson at INTERNATIONAL RECTIFIER, El Segundo, CA. (310) 726-8512.
