Attaching to brushless PM motors as small as 0.866" in diameter, the model R22i commutating encoder accommodates space-critical designs with a package measuring 0.866" in diameter and 0.59" in length without mounting tabs. It provides a 3-phase commutation pattern, U, V, and W, for use with 4-, 6-, 8-, and 10-pole motors. Also available are encoder resolutions with 250-, 256-, 500-, 512-, 1,000-, and 1,024-line counts in A, B, and Z reference channels. Other features include a temperature range of -30°C to +110°C.
