Embarking as improved versions of the 4118 motors, the 4518 NEMA 17 stepper motors reportedly deliver super torque and smooth motion. The motors are available in three stack lengths starting with the 4518S at 1.34” in thickness and the 4518L measuring in at 1.89”. Depending on the stack length, they are capable of producing up to 83 oz.-in. of holding torque. Additionally, the company is able to customize motor performance and create new windings at no extra cost. Various bi- and uni-polar windings are available.
