A new series of two-phase stepping motors has been designed with high torque in a compact size. The PK25X series has a frame size of 1.97" square, comes in lengths of 2.03" and 3.19", and produces holding torques of 119 oz/in and 220 oz/in, respectively, in bipolar excitation mode. The PK256-02B develops a running torque of 80 oz/in at 600 pps with 48 Vdc and 1.4A per phase input. The longer PK258-02B achieves 155 oz/in at 300 pps with 48 Vdc and 1.4A per phase input.
