Combining stability with an economical and lightweight-plastic construction, the company's latest brushless dc motor features a through-hole design and optional integrated drive electronics and encoders. Measuring 1.85" in diameter and 0.75" high, the motor is suitable for use in portable or battery operated polygon scanners and diagnostic equipment. It consumes 100 mA when operating at 4V and delivering 1,400 rpm. Electrical connections are made via terminals, and ball bearings promise a rugged, long life.
