Thermal Protectors Come In Three Models And Have Many Uses

March 1, 1999

Well-suited for protecting appliance motors of 1/2 hp or smaller, transformers, solenoids, battery chargers, heaters, switched-mode power supplies, inverter ballasts, electronic circuits and amplifiers, the UP7 Series of thermal protectors come in a reinforced PBT-resin plastic enclosure that eliminates the need for extra insulation or additional mylar sleeving. The devices incorporate snap-action open or close and self-resetting. Three models offer customized wire leads that meet specific contact requirements. All are UL and CSA approved as well as ISO 14,001 certified.
