Allowing independent control of incremental and absolute functions from a single compact, low-profile unit, the RJS Series dual-shaft, jog shuttle encoder is well-suited for video and sound editing devices, tuning controls and programming equipment. The inner shaft (jog part) offers a 360º endless total rotational angle with rotational torque of 0.70 to 10 mNm. The spring-loaded outer shaft provides a 160º rotational angle with a return-to-center function and a torque of 10 to 50 mNm. Both shafts have an operating life of 50,000 cycles.
