These 1% tolerance precision current sense resistors with Kelvin (four-terminal) connections are rated at 2W continuous operation at 70°C ambient temperature, and their load life performance is said to be very stable. The heavy copper terminals help maintain stable, cool operation at continuous currents of up to 15.8A with surge capability rated in excess of 600A for short transient conditions (>3 kW at 10 µs). Manufactured using a non-inductive design, SR20 resistors also boast of an extremely low inductance of about 5 nH, qualifying the devices for use in high-speed current sensing applications, such as motor controllers and switching power supplies. Standard resistance values for the devices range from 0.008 ohms ±1% to 1.00 ohm ±1%.
