The 2642 and 2657 dc-micromotors are the latest members of a family of graphite commutated coreless motors. These 26-mm diameter motors in combination with the companyÕs 26/1 gearhead series are rated at 44W of output power with a continuous torque rating of 3.5 Nm. The motors are said to have extremely high efficiency and excellent dynamic response due to the patented System Faulhaber, a skew wound ironless rotor in combination with NdFeB magnets. Reduction ratios range from 3.71:1 to 1,526:1. MICROMO ELECTRONICS, INC., Clearwater, FL. (727) 572-0131.
