The firm's 10-mm diameter digital magnetic encoders are 12-line, two-channel quadrature devices that allow 48 counts per revolution post-quadrature. The encoders provide feedback in a package that adds only 8 mm in length to the firm's miniature motors. Digital feedback can be used to determine position, velocity and direction. Input voltage is 3.8 to 24 vdc with a maximum current draw of 8 mA. Output signals are TTL compatible with a 5 vdc input. Operating temperature range is -20°C to 80°C. Inertia is 0.07 g-cm2, and maximum operating frequency is 20 kHz.
