Rounding out the company's family of, direct-drive servomotors is its smallest member, the QCI-M11-1 with a NEMA 11 frame. Sporting a faceplate measuring 1.1", a length of 2", and weighing 5 oz., the motor generates 9 in.-oz. of continuous torque and comes with a 4,000-count/revolution encoder. When combined with the company's servo controller/drivers, it creates a high-torque, servo-control system delivering speeds up to 4,000 rpm. Other features include the ability to handle inertial mismatches of 100 x 1 and a power consumption of 1.3A while operating from a 12V to 48V power supply. QUICKSILVER CONTROLS INC., San Dimas, CA.
