The LO-COG Series 8290 of 26-mm, brush-commutated dc motors and gearmotors features a cartridge brush assembly designed to reduce audible and electrical noise and improve brush life by maintaining optimum brush force throughout the life of the motor.
The motors are available in three lengths, 1.798", 1.923" and 2.173", and can provide a continuous-torque output up to 3.17 oz./in. and peak torque up to 20 oz./in. with speeds over 8900 rpm. Other features include a 7-slot skewed armature and two-pole permanent magnet stators constructed of bonded neodymium iron boron magnets.
