Measuring just 1.1" in diameter and weighing only 0.2 lb., this compact micro-stepping motor has an accuracy of 3% of a 1.8° step and can be combined with micro-stepping drives to provide from 25,000 to 100,000 positional steps per revolution. Applications for the new Size 11 miniature stepper include use in remote micro manipulators for genetic research and neurosurgery, ultra-sound inspection devices, autofocus systems, fiber optic assembly, and more. The steppers are delivered in 6-8 weeks. Custom versions, as well as units that meet Mil specs also are available.
