Offering an aluminum housing and sealed bearings, LD20 Incremental Encoder has a small, 2-inch outer diameter for light-duty applications where space is at a premium. The encoder provides velocity, position, and direction feedback used to regulate a variety of motion control functions and is intended for equipment such as copying machines and motor drives. It has a face mounting flange, can withstand operating temperatures of 0°C to 70°C, and can handle speeds to 3000 rpm while providing up to 2500 pulses per revolution. Voltage range is 5V to 24V with open collector outputs, quadrature output with reference marker, and maximum output frequency of 100 kHz.
