Centrifugal Blowers Enter Standard-Products Mart

June 1, 1999

Suitable for cooling servers, telecomm equipment, and other electronic systems, BG0703 centrifugal blowers are based on a standard design that's said to yield a lower cost alternative to presently available units employing custom designs. Representing the first members of a new family of standard centrifugal blowers, the BG0703 blowers can deliver up to 10.4 cfm of cooling air and can operate under static pressures of up to 0.44" of water. The 75-mm diameter x 30-mm thick centrifugal blowers are available for operation from 12V and 24V supplies, employ dual ball bearings, and meet UL, CSA, VDE and CE requirements. The blowers are also guaranteed to be free of defects in material and workmanship for 75,000 hours when operated under specified temperature, humidity and voltage conditions. BG0703 blowers are available in a variety of motor speeds and control options.
