The BR series of resistors for high-load, dynamic braking and soft-start motor applications features small footprints relative to their ratings of 100W, 200W and 300W of continuous power. Each resistor contains a 2-mm-thick copper substrate that provides heat sinking for pulse power loads up to 1, 2 and 3 kW, respectively. Respective areas are 21.9, 31.7 and 42.7 cm2, and all models stand 1.42 cm tall in an injection-molded case.
