DC Motors' Slotless Construction Results In Cool Operation

With special proprietary slotless construction and laminating materials, 22C series brushless dc motors offer cool operation and have ceramic bearings for long life at high speeds. Applications include surgical/dental hand pieces and tools, turbomelecular pumps, high power density actuators (with gearhead), and many other such uses. Units are autoclavable and come with speeds up to 200,000 rpm with a stall torque up to 9.7 oz.-in. The motors are available in sensorless versions, with planetary gear boxes, or with encoders.
