Housed in an SM-8 package, the ZDS1009 current mirror provides high side current sense and level translation solutions. The device is targeted at a broad application base, including battery charge management, dc motor control, and over-current monitoring. It is said to be especially useful in current sense feedback circuits in battery chargers for Li-Ion cells. It supports operation from -55°C to +150°C, is rated to 30V, and exhibits very low offset and high accuracy. Application notes and data sheets with parametrics and full characterization curves are available to simplify circuit designs. Pricing is $0.96 each/10,000.
